Food Blog!

Hey Guys!
The last couple of days I had a look at many food blogs, one recipe looking more delicious than the other. I ended up in the kitchen preparing dinner, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to stand this huge amount of information about tasty food and all those fancy pictures didn't even give me the chance to calm down my stomach by thinking that it wouldn't taste good anyway.
More or less accidentally, I came across a very unique blog yesterday. This blog is a little bit different from the other food blogs I have seen so far. Of course, different doesn't always mean bad. I would rather call it an unique, very creative attempt of teaching how to prepare food, and that is why I chose this one out of many other blogs which maybe present their recipes in a more appealing way.

The blog is called Vegan Black Metal Chef and is written by Brian Manowitz from Orlando. His blog entries are about various kinds of vegan recipes. Unlike recipes from other food blogs they are not written in a very detailed way, just short, compact information below large pictures to figure out what each step looks like. If you want to know the cooking process more precisely you have to watch his cooking videos attached to every recipe.
I was curious and watched some of them. I'm not sure what I expected or if I expected anything but I wasn't prepared to see a guy who could also have been a member of the band KISS. White and red make-up all over the face, long black hair in black metal clothes. The video was accompanied by metal music, every step explained like lyrics of a music video on the bottom of the page (somethimes really funny to read^^). For his preperations he doesn't use "normal" cooking utensils, some of them are very...extravagant. Just have a look at the knife he uses to slice food.
Apart from his appearence the food he prepares looks really delicious and I absolutely want to try out the one or other recipe.
It impressed me because I think it doesn't matter how you look like or what music preferences you have, if you are into cooking and enjoy to pass your knowledge to others it's worth to give it a try.
